Summary of Practice

Andrew has a wide civil practice with a particular focus on professional negligence. He has considerable experience in cases involving solicitors, surveyors, engineers and architects negligence.

During his time as standing junior counsel for HM Revenue & Customs, Andrew dealt principally with VAT disputes. In that role, he regularly appeared before the VAT Tribunal and in appeals before the Court of Session and House of Lords. Andrew also has extensive experience acting for pursuers in personal injury actions involving catastrophic head and spinal injuries.
