Summary of Practice

Since calling to the Bar in 2006, Frank has handled a wide variety of instructions, with a particular emphasis on property and family law. As a Solicitor in private practice before coming to the Bar, Frank built up a strong reputation for property law matters, both contentious and non-contentious, and this reputation has followed him to the Bar. In particular, Frank advises public and private organisations, and individuals, on housing law, a field in which he has gained a significant amount of expertise. Family law also continues to be a major part of Frank’s professional case-load, and recently Frank has been involved in matrimonial disputes and International Child Abduction cases. Frank has considerable advocacy experience, having been a regular Sheriff Court practitioner as a Solicitor, and having also appeared before employment and other tribunals. As an Advocate he now in addition appears in the Court of Session and the High Court.
