Summary of Practice
Alexander Bolland has extensive experience in both civil and criminal law. In civil he is principally involved in personal injury and negligence and has wide experience of all types of such cases including medical negligence. He has acted for pursuers and defenders in cases of the utmost severity and complexity.
He has appeared in FAI's – including technical and medical inquires for individuals, local authorities and the NHS.
In criminal he has prosecuted and defended in many major cases and has defended in health and safety cases.
He has wide experience of courts-martial with all three services and special forces and has appeared before the courts martial appeal court.
