Summary of Practice

Kate was a solicitor in private practice from 1985 before coming to the bar in 2000. Since then she has practised mainly in the field of family law, in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session, including Inner House appearances. She also acts in personal injury and professional negligence cases.

She has given numerous lectures at Family Law Association, Central Law Training and local faculty seminars and conferences on matters relating to family law and on advocacy and pleading.
