Summary of Practice
After graduating in Public Law at Glasgow University, Stephen trained, qualified and practised as a chartered accountant with a "Big 4" accountancy firm. This involved working for a diverse base of clients including large listed Plcs and smaller industrial manufacturing clients. He was seconded to the firm's tax department for a short period in 2001. Stephen has maintained his C.A. qualification.
Stephen then trained as a solicitor with a commercial law firm gaining experience in company law, banking law and commercial contracts.
Directly prior to calling, Stephen worked for two years for a general litigation firm in Falkirk dealing with family law, contract disputes, personal injury and other litigation matters.
Stephen has maintained an interest in commercial law, tax law, family law and personal injury actions.

Stephen has appeared in the Court of Session and regularly appears in courts throughout Scotland.
