If you wish to instruct a specific advocate or wish advice on a suitable advocate for a piece of work, please contact one of our clerks or deputy clerks. They will also be happy to deal with any general queries regarding members of the stable. The stable is manned between 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 - 5.00 on Fridays.
You may also check the availability of counsel using our on-line diary system. All members of Arnot Manderson use the electronic diary system which can be accessed via our Diaries page. This allows 24 hour access to view diary details for any advocate.
Individual advocates are usually happy to be contacted directly in relation to on-going instructions. Email and mobile numbers appear on the individual member’s web page. However, please remember that advocates are often in court or in meetings, and cannot always respond immediately. If in doubt whether a message has been received by an individual advocate, you may wish to contact one of the clerks who will be able to assist.
Our Clerks
Lorna and Liz have been advocates clerks for 17 and 19 years respectively. They have an excellent understanding of the legal market and a thorough knowledge of what solicitors require by way of advocacy services. They both appreciate the importance of ensuring that solicitors are provided with advocates appropriate for the particular piece of work. Lorna and Liz are supported by a first class team of deputies all of whom have considerable experience in organising advocacy services.
